About the game
Setting
In the game, humans have advanced technologically to the point where they no longer require human bodies. They transferred their consciousness into robot-like machines. As a result of a rare event, you are the only operating being in the destroyed home of your civilization.


Platforming
You will have to overcome obstacles in order to traverse the destroyed place you once called home. Platforming challenges and traps from the self-defense system are the most prominent obstacles. The more you progress in the game, the more movement abilities you gain.

Production
Lumien was developed for the beta Mittweida over the course of a year.
This is an annual event at the University of applied science Mittweida.
During beta 2022, I served as the project's technical art director. Managing the technical implementation of animations, models, and all assets created for the game. Among my responsibilities were making visual effects, editor tools, level design, and lighting. We, the engine department, combined all created assets and scripts in the unity engine and handled most of the in-engine work for the project.
